The International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is the largest provider of services to victims of human trafficking across the globe. In 2015, an estimated 7,000 victims of trafficking were assisted by the Organisation in 117 countries of destination. The Organisation also collected in-depth information for 4,858 newly-identified victims of trafficking from 65 countries of nationality, in 59 countries of destination/identification. This detailed data is recorded in IOM’s web-based case management system (MiMOSA). This is the source of information presented below. The graphics below present data from victims of trafficking registered in IOM’s case management system in 2015 in the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA).
